Day 18
November 14th

This morning we noticed some really great improvements in Rachel. She was actually offering Todd some of her snack and didn't even seem to mind when he played with her toy. A couple of weeks ago he couldn't get near her snack without her screaming and she would have promptly ripped the toy out of his hand. We asked her to give him a kiss at the end of the visit and she happily kissed him. As for Todd, he likes to dance. He was nodding his head back and forth and moving his arms. It was really cute.

I know there are some of you out there following our trip that are in the midst of the whole international adoption process and are perhaps trying to make decisions as to what type of child you will adopt in terms of age. It is a very personal choice and a scary decision to make. I am not sure exactly what the future will bring but can say that Frank and I both are finding the Toddler Adoption experience to be incredibly rewarding. It is just amazing to see how quickly the children change from just a little bit of love and stimulation. I am sure you can see it a little bit in the pictures and from our posts but it is an incredible thing to witness first hand.

The rash saga continues. I think I have finally cracked the case. I have a couple of the spots on my hands just like Rachel's.  My theory is that we have a virus. I forget the name of it, but it infects that hands, feet and mouth and is common in pre-schools, etc. My theory is that that is why my throat hurts and also why I had a low grade fever earlier in the week. If I am not mistaken it should resolve in a week or so?

Tomorrow is our big day at court. Our case is scheduled for 10:00AM. After court we will go to the babyhouse and I will make sure to post all of the details as soon as we get back to our room.
