I took it easy today but am feeling much better. Still some significant stomach pain. I didn't eat much. I am wondering if I have Giardias. I think it is too soon to be sure. Tomorrow, in honor of Thankgiving, I have a big day planned with another couple that is here to try to pass the time.
Visited with the kids tonight as usual. You can see from the pictures that they interact with each other a little more each day. Todd threw a fit tonight when I took him away from the stereo. Then when I took a picture of him throwing a fit that really threw him over the edge. I just couldn't resist.
As for the other children here at the babyhouse there are many beautiful and healthy children here. As for going to Rachels room, I started out wanting to go. I wanted to see her environment, but now I am glad to let my interpreter go when I am not needed. It is just too sad. They are all so needy for attention. Yesterday I was literally mobbed by all of them at one time. Rachel got very upset. They were all out of control, grabbing me, pinching me all over and screaming and laughing "Mama, Mama". The caregiver helped me get them all off of me. I took Rachel to the bathroom and closed the door and children kept trying to run in. I left the room fighting back tears. I think it is too upsetting for them for me to go in the room. They do not understand why a Mama has not come for them.
Wishing all of my friends and family a wonderful Thanksgiving. Know that I miss you but that I am OK. Missing a Thanksgiving at home is a small price to pay for what I will bring home. I have much to be Thankful for.
