Day 5

November 1, 2004
Good Morning. Here are a few pics from today's visit. I'll write more later. Off to get a manicure for 2 bucks. Life is rough here at the Skiff.
"Do it again Daddy!"
"I hope you don't have any babyproofing at my new house."
"Come on Mama, please let me see what is behind this door."
"Why do you ALWAYS have that camera in your hand?"
We had a great visit this morning. I tried to leave a toothbrush and toothpaste for Rachel but was told by the caregivers that she is just a baby and is too young to have her teeth brushed. Looks like I will be adding "Find Pediatric Dentist" to my Mommy to-do list. We brought a beach ball for the kids. We had the room to ourselves this morning so we were able to throw it and kick it and let the kids run around. They were both cracking up.

Returned this evening to 2 happy but tired kids. I think the beach ball thing wore them out. Rachel spent the whole visit on my lap. She is definately becoming very attached to me. I transitioned her off of my lap for about 5 minutes. I layed on my back and sat Todd on my stomach. She allowed that for about 30 seconds and then walked over strattled me and then sat on my chest and smiled. So, back to my lap she went. She plays with Frank, kisses him and hugs him good-bye. She just really has a thing for sititing on my lap. Today when our interpreter told her it was time for Mama and Papa to leave she said "Nyet" and shook her head. Of course, we loved it! Our interpreter told us that she walks around the baby house saying things like "My Mama give me this shirt" , "Mama give me this blanket" "Mama bring me my toy". That's all for today. Thank you all for your support, prayers and e-mails. We love it!
