Day 6

Good Morning. It's 4:30 AM here in Kaz. I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. That's what I get for going to bed at eight. I made a great discovery this morning. Thanks to the 25 foot phone cord that I packed, I can get online from the bathroom while Frank sleeps. Also, I found the perfect spot in here for the cofee pot :) Frank will be thrilled when he wakes up and realizes that I have already racked up 2 hours of internet time and have powered down 3 cups of coffee. As always looking forward to our morning visit with the kids. After that we are going to go out for a Kazak lunch with our interpreter and Coreen and Steve Hayes. Then, do a little bit of shopping for the kids. We need to find shoes for them. The ones that we brought are too small. Also, I forgot to mention that we taught them how to drink from sippy cups last night. We brought the no-spill kind with the valves that you have to suck. Both kids are accustomed to drinking from a tea cup. It is amazing how they drink from it without spilling a drop. Also, I should mention that the water they are given is always on the warm side as the Kazaks believe that cold fluids will make a child sick. I will post some pictures of today's visit this afternoon.
